On MC today again as I have almost finished my medicine but is still coughing and having runny nose.
I arrived at the clinic at 11.15am and waited until 12.50pm before seeing the doc. And even waiting to collect my medicine is driving me crazy. I waited at least 20 mins before they call my name. And I was shocked..
I didnt know I need so much medicine!!!
The Loks were invited to Natalie’s full month celebration today.
Our usual routine before going out. I’ll bathe Megan, change her, comb and clip her hair while my hubby has his shower. Then he’ll take over while I bathe and start snapping megan’s pictures…
We reached Angie’s house late but just in time for the cake cutting ceremony. Jessica got a very nice jelly ‘cake’ which you can’t bear to eat it. It looks fantastic and taste good!

megan was busy entertaining herself with the many toys there…and keep pushing up and down saying many bye-byes to the aunties and uncles… 
I was carrying Rach’s smaller longchamp bag and garry goes: “no need take picture, just buy lah!”
Rach, now I know why you have many bags liao…garry is so encouraging lor.

Was on leave yesterday as Megan’s nanny has something to attend to. So we decided to make it a family day.
My hubby renewed his singnet contract and got a netbook free. We went to the Acer warehouse at IBP for collection and the weather was killing the three of us.
Tata, here’s the netbook…cool huh, I even bought a red mouse to match it! 
The actual offer was for 1G ram so he decided to upgrade it to 2G by topping up $89.
Good news is I got smaller hands and he decided to give this netbook to me, haha..thanks dear!
Since we are at JE, might as well drop by IMM. We had wanted to get Megan a Minnie mouse necklace for her 1st birthday (ya i know it’s very belated) but haven’t got time to buy it. Saw Poh Heng and we finally bought the necklace for her…
After the dinner, we went Giant to buy things in preparation for our picnic at the botanic garden later today. The sky looks dark and gloomy so good luck gals.

Congrats to Shu Lynn and Marcel who have finally tie the knot last Sat, 23 May 2009. Here’s wishing the couple a blissful marriage and hope to hear good news soon!
We left home early for the Kinderland Open house which started at 9am. Wanna take a look of the school and also talk to the teachers there. Megan seems to have forgotten about the two of us as she is so mesmerised by the toys and art works on the walls and was playing with the PG teacher. We managed to walk around the center on our own and is quite satisfied with the environment.
We had a quick lunch at the coffeeshop with Daryl and my sister and then head down to Shu’s wedding lunch at Marina Mandarin, where we almost march in with the couple, keke..
While waiting outside the ballroom for the montage to end, we got the opportunity to snap a few picts of the couple…and I must say the wedding album, gown and hairdo are fabulous..
i can see how excited Shu was this very moment.. 
I am not sure what is going on in little one’s mind now..

12th May marks our 13th Anniversary together.
13 years ago on this same day, a polytechnic boy finally plucked up his courage and asked a polytechnic girl if he can hold her hand by the Marina Promenade. We were so shy then, unlike now, haha… but I must say 谈恋爱的感觉真的好好喔!
and I nearly fall in love again today. After my lunch when I return to the office, I saw this lovely box of chocolate on my desk…
He caught me by surprise.
At around 3pm, I received a call from Edna asking me to go to the reception area. Saw 2 bouquets of flowers at her desk, and I thought, can’t be bah, 2 bouquets? What had he done wrong?? no lah, just kidding haha.. another bouquet is for Chia Li.
Rach quickly came over and help me took this pict..
The gals went “whoa, wor” and I’m really dying to knock off. I knocked off on time and we were able to have dinner at NYDC, before we head down to nanny’s place to fetch Megan.

This bouquet of flowers arouses little one’s curiosity and she was pointing at the roses and make soft funny voice. She said “flower” (in her baby tone) after we told her what that was. Her nanny points to one of the yellow polka dots on her long pants and said “yellow”. I can hear her saying the word “yellow” immediately after that. Megan is now able to say two-syllabus words and so far after “mickey”, “flower” and “yellow” is another two such words.

I had a wonderful day. Thanks dear for your thoughts and effort, for rushing here and there to deliver the chocolate during lunch hour under the hot sun. (I knew Joey dun deserve the “bribery” cos she din offer you tissue paper, keke..)

Had wanna bring megan for her first “swim” last weekend but too bad it was raining on both Sat and Sun :(
Looks like we got to postpone it. Let’s pray that the OT on 18 Apr will not materialise.
In the end, we were wearing swim wear but eating chicken rice at the coffeeshop instead of swimming at the pool. 真扫兴…
