My company closed for half day during the New Year Eve and I chio Shu and Judy out for lunch and shopping since Megan is taken care by her nanny due to the school closure. Funny thing is that the 3 CCK “taitai” were all married to very busy men who need to work till 3pm if not 4.30pm on the New Year Eve. Well I must say some co just couldn’t let their staff take a short break before the new year start.
Really enjoyed my day as it has been a looooooong time since I can really shop without feeling hasty and I really mean it. With hubby and Megan around I don’t seem to be able to shop with ease, and usually ended up getting nothing when I reach home. But of course I still enjoy these quality family time together even if its just a simple meal together.
We went Far East Plaza for lunch and shopping. Shu wanted to buy shoes but it was me who ended up getting this pair of shoes and a jumper. Well must pamper myself once in a while…
Megan is so excited and happy “trying” out my shoes and can’t help walking to and fro the mirror keep telling me “mummy, shoe shoe…” and this goes on for I dunno how many times. She just refused to let me try on the shoes or keep the shoes. And hubby was right when he say “I think both of you are so happy with the new shoes!”. Come to think of it, i think sooner or later, we need to upgrade the shoe cabinet. Dont think the existing one can accomodate shoes for 3 ladies, haha…
Had wanna bring megan for her first “swim” last weekend but too bad it was raining on both Sat and Sun :(
Looks like we got to postpone it. Let’s pray that the OT on 18 Apr will not materialise.
In the end, we were wearing swim wear but eating chicken rice at the coffeeshop instead of swimming at the pool. 真扫兴…
It's definitely not Christmas day but so what. The party is still on!!
Rach has invited us to her home for the Christmas celebration. And since the party only starts at 6pm, we have lots of time for the day. Initially we had planned to go shopping for a dslr camera, which my hubby has been longing for even since before he bought the Lumix. But he can't wait any longer and finally got his first dslr camera on the boxing day after work.
And so, to test the different settings of the camera, megan's day were filled with "flashes"...
Time to bathe before we head down to the party, not spared from the camera...

We had so much fun and good food that we forgotten that it was time to go home. In the end, had to clean megan up nearly 12 midnight and guess what, daddy still not gonna let megan off!
