megan's first LRT ride

i'm running a little late for my posts. i wasn't home last weekend as hubby was carrying out some "secret" mission for PB thru from Sat morning till sun nite with 3 other male "agents". (he claimed they're male & dun ask me wat he is doing thr at those wee hours w them ok?)

Was at my mum's place cos it's rather difficult to babysit alone at home esp i'm those who always take longer time to bathe and do "business". somemore megan is happier with nicky, darly & val playing wif her.

this time i tried taking train to CCK & took LRT with megan. This is the first time megan is taking the LRT but lil' one doesn't seems at all excited. cos daddy not here? but you were still happy on the MRT wor...



 
ok darling finally we've reached BP. we'll stop over @ BPP first, mummy needs to get something..
 
i was thr cos giordano was having this 40% promo and these are really good buy which i cant missed..i really need to find time to pack up those maternity clothes and "slightly"smaller clothes which i tell myself everyday one fine day i'll be able to fit them in again, god help me! so before i can fit in, these will be my temporary solutions:

Bought some board books from Bras Basah last week. Gabby-ma was telling me there's this shop at Bras Basah selling nice & cheap board books. I've decided to go down to take a look, making full use of the pathetic little time left before my hubby knock off (gosh, now the shopping queen dun really have much time to shop neh, even if there is, i'll end up in the kids dept, haiz.....今日不同往日.) 

anyway these are the books i've bought for megan:

i reckon these board books shld be tough enuff to resist megan's "rough play" since the leapfrog littletouch pages were almost torn by her powerful little hands the last time i read to her! but it's supposed to be drool-proof, tear-resistant & durable wor...dunno lei?

oh btw bought this looney tunes pyjamas set for megan while waiting for hubby to knock off today. megan's long pants are getting tighter esp at the waist. dunno why nanny like to rework on the elastic waist bands of her pants, making her look more "unbreathable".

Flash Cards

Zena spotted a very good offer for these flash cards and has helped me buy 6 sets of them (first words, alphabets, colours & shapes, numbers, farm animals & clothes) @ 2 for the price of 1!

i tried to show megan & read it out loud today but i tink she is more interested in holding the cards and putting it into her mouth  then listening to me...it's no wonder she is not paying attention cos the box indicated for 3years+, tink i'm expecting too much from her...

2008 renewal dinner

Time flies..this is the 3rd renewal dinner i hv wif Blackwell.

we have games at the Settlers Cafe @ north canal road and after that, head down to Holiday Inn parkview for the buffet.

The buffet wasnt too bad thou but for those who are crazy over seafood like oysters you wont find any there...

i took a pict of megan after fetching her from her nanny's place on thur evening. poor bb must be tired & bcos she was facing front on the stroller, i din realised she fell asleep wif her neck slanting. she was still in this sitting position after i got changed & boiled a kettle of water...
 
i din realised it was my chinese bday on thur until my mum called me.
